How to Find the Best Possible Day Care Facility

Choosing a daycare checklist

According to national statistics, more than 80 percent of kids spend at least some time in day care by age four. Interestingly, there are a number of things to think about when selecting a daycare; sometimes parents select private day care, while other times, parents trust their corporate childcare solutions.

More than 80 of the companies in Working Mothers magazine’s “Top 100 Companies for Working Mothers” offer some form of corporate child care to their employees. According to government statistics, 23 percent of working parents employ “multiple arrangements” for childcare, and signs indicate this is a growing trend.

In the United States, about 90 percent of the cost of child care is assumed by parents. Corporate childcare helps parents who are struggling with finding a daycare, as it allows parents to simply go to work as usual while trusting their children to a high quality daycare program.
